Jinhua Mountain tourism economic zone are has jurisdiction of two towns of Chisong and Luodian, 80 administrative villages with a total population of 56 thousand and a floating population of 15 thousand. Its administrative area is 150 square kilometers, and the planning area is 300 square kilometers. The industrial output value of it is 2 billion 360 million Yuan, and the region's total tourism revenue is 2 billion 52 million Yuan in 2015。


The traffic location advantage of Jinhua Mountain is very evident. It can rely on highways and railways to get a rapid access to the national highway and railway network, and it is very convenient to Yiwu Airport, Quzhou Airport and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which can realize effect of "the integration of the neighbouring cities" for the tourism in Yangtze River Delta. With the unique natural resources, Jinhua Mountain is almost integrated into the city, and it has evident effect of "getting close to the city". With the high altitude of 1314 meters, it owns rare resources all over the country. Jinhua Mountain has the characteristics of complex terrain, large elevation as well as significant vertical temperature changes, for example, the average summer temperature of the mountaintop is 4 to 8 Degrees lower than that of the mountain foot. In Dapantian Scenic Spot, there are more than 10 peaks, which are the rare mountain plateaus with the average elevation above 1000 meters. They are excellent cool world and summer resort. In Jinhua Mountain, there is a National Forest Park, whose forest coverage rate reaches more than 80%. Its natural landscape of 134 natural attractions in Jinhua Mountain is very beautiful. It is a famous mountain of" Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism". Sixteen emperors from Xiao Yan, Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty to Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty once visited Jinhua Mountain. They gave plaque, royal orders to Taoist temple, eminent monks, senior Taoist priests and hermits or they sheltered. Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Song Qingling, Peng Dehuai, Taozhu, Li Xiannian, Peng Zhen, Wu Bangguo and other leaders of the Party and the country also paid a visit. Men of letters of all dynasties all came here for its fame. Li Bai and Wang Anshi, Meng Haoran, Su Dongpo, Li Qingzhao and other ancient celebrities had more than 2000 articles about Mount Jinhua. The great traveler Xu Xiake wrote more than 4000 words of travel about it. Modern writer Yu Dafu, Ye Shengtao, Guo Moruo and Ai Qing also wrote famous masterpieces for Shuanglong Cave. "Two Caves of Jinhua" by Mr. Ye Shengtao made the cave so well-known in the world.
